From Blogging to Vlogging

Assalamualaikum,,

The world has surely developed into a new dimension. People can now use a new way of delivering opinions and thoughts. The freedom of speech is quite practised through this technology development.

Not long time ago, people were introduced with the blogging thing. They use this medium to express what they feel and think. No matter what the issues are, everything is shared virtually. From personal experience to a more serious issues, eg: world's update, political issue and many more. People make blogs as place to share and exchange opinions. And today this method is still chosen by many of us.

However, another medium of sharing has appeared! Now, we have Vlogging. Vlogging is a video sharing with people talking in it. It is some sort of an alive blog. While in blogs people can just read the words, in vlogs, users can watch what is being conveyed with some sound added into it. From my humble opinion, vlogging is much more effective than blogging.

We do not have to go far to search for examples. In Malaysia, we have Aiman Azlan, Anwar Hadi and Mat Luthfi. These are among most influenced figures in vlogging world. They are now celebrities. They are definitely creative in delivering good messages. And, many of their fans out there are on their ways of following those celebrities' footsteps.

I'm not telling that Vlogging is far better than Blogging. What I am trying to stress here is that we have been provided with various ways of sharing. Now, it is up to us to utilize them or not. And of course, we should share about good things so that people out there can taste the same feeling of goodness.

Like Prophet Rasulullah saw had said:
"Convey from me even one ayah"

So, start sharing and spread the love and goodness to the world!

  1. Assalamualaikum Jannah

    nice sharing
people are slowly diverting into vlogging I can say
because it is more lively and interesting
moreover, less misunderstanding will happens because we know how they express their opinion and feeling through their voice tones.
compared to writing in blog, sometimes reader may interpret differently from what the writer is trying to convey. like serious.
but still, writing is a way of da'wah too. and will always be. InsyaAllah.
