As the technology advanced, many gadgets and machines,
hardware and software has been upgrade to make sure it’s always compatible with
each other. Same goes to Central Processing Unit (CPU) and it refers as the
brain of the computer. The leading brand in the market for CPU is INTEL and AMD
and these companies have been around decades and major suppliers for CPU chips.
Both companies compete aggressively and quite a number of times, they file
report against each other as they claim the other one try to copy their
products, just like Samsung Apple today. But we as users, our main concerns are
the technology and product that fit us the best. Let’s look at Intel first;
along the operation, the company had produced several types of CPUs starting
with dual core processors. Then upgrade to dual core i3 which is quite
multitasks. Later it moves forward to dual core i5 processors and now, the
latest one is i7 and so far it is the best performance among all. This
quad-core processor features 8-way multitasking capability and additional L3
cache thus is become the today’s most demanding application. For AMD, it tends
to run hotter than Intel but its way much cheaper in terms of price. Plus is we
have a right fan, the temperature could be easily control. Both of these chips
have their own advantages and disadvantages, and as a user, we have options and
know what’s best for us. So, make a wise decision before jump to any
conclusion.
